Applied Math & Engineering Physics refers to the study of the combined disciplines of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Engineering in order to develop an enhanced understanding of the interrelationship between them. Typically, 20% more course work is required to take additional upper level courses in Mathematics and Engineering. Engineering Physics Majors, dive into research alongside professors who work at the frontier of translating emerging science into novel technologies. The majority of Physics and Engineering Physics majors go on to pursue advanced degrees (Masters or PhD) in Physics.  Engineering Physics majors tend to work on forefront ideas in technology and science, in either industry or academia.
